UIC’s work on early education leadership cited by National Governors Association

A new brief from the National Governors Association makes the case for building the capacity of school principals at the preschool through grade three levels. The brief, “Leading for Early Success: Building School Principals’ Capacity to Lead High-Quality Early Education,” includes a case study of Illinois and cites UIC’s partnership with Chicago Public Schools on early education principal preparation. Download the brief here.
