UIC’s Center for Urban Education Leadership (CUEL) received a $250,0000 grant from the Lloyd A. Fry Foundation that will support a two year design-based leadership development project within the Chicago Public Schools. This spring a UIC/CPS Practice Partnership Leadership Team will be formed that will bring together Senior CPS Administrators to collaborate with the CUEL to design and lead this project, which will target the development of CPS Network Chiefs. CUEL”s Director, Dr. Shelby Cosner will lead this project. She will be closely supported by Dr. Cynthia Barron, CUEL Affiliate and Ed.D. Program Coordinator, and by Dr. Sam Whalen, CUEL’s Research Director.
