In November 2019, Dr. Shelby Cosner, Director of UIC’s Center for Urban Education Leadership was selected by UCEA plenum members to serve on UCEA’s nine-member Executive Committee. UCEA is a consortium of over 100 higher educational institutions throughout the US, and this organization is committed to advancing the preparation and practice of educational leaders for the purpose of positively impacting schools and the lives/educational outcomes of K-12 students.
