Dr. Shelby Cosner, the Director of UIC’s Center for Urban Education Leadership, has been invited to give this year’s Willower Family Lecture at the University of Buffalo. This lecture series was established in 2000 through an endowment gift by the Willower family to “add to the intellectual climate of the university while enhancing the reputation of its Graduate School of Education.” Cosner will present her research and scholarship on  robust forms of school leadership preparation and on the work that practicing school leaders take up in their press to transform schools and student learning. Cosner will give three different talks to an assortment of audiences over three days at the University of Buffalo in March 2020.
