Martha Hebert

Martha Hebert, Researcher. Dr. Hebert is a Researcher in the CUEL. She is a qualitative researcher and serves as the lead CUEL documentarian, and coordinator for all CUEL development projects.  In this role she has contributed to a wide assortment of past CUEL research and development projects. She currently contributes to CUEL’s mentor support of two university principal preparation programs as part of a $47M 4-year project funded by The Wallace Foundation to transform university-based principal preparation and provides oversight for all site visits to CUEL by other institutions.

Prior to employment at UIC, Dr. Hebert worked for the Chicago Public Schools in various positions including consultant in the Office of Grants Management, Executive Assistant to the Chief Officer for Professional Development, manager of the New Teacher Induction program, and coordinator in the Office of Funded Programs.  She has worked at UIC since 2006 and has an EdD from Loyola University in Educational Leadership.
